Is rain water okay to use in my tank? I'm only asking as it'd probably lower the water bills :p

i'm sure but if y0u d0 it y0u w0uld have t0 warm it, treat it. but i w0uldn't because rainwater is quie dirty and p0lluted (sulphur dixide and etc).

yeah i guess it'd probably mean my filter would have to work that bit extra to get the cr@p out.

i have a spare filter but its probably capable of 50litres max. And the water buts we have are probably around 400litres. So dont think that'd reall work. Might have to invest in one in the long run.

Its a shame 'cos everywheres flooded around here :p

yeah well pretty much all of UK is flooded at the moment, still a hosepipe ban where i live, figure that out :p

uk weather is well messed up the moment one minute its sunny the next pouring it down :)

on my way back from work just now i saw a BMW put its foot down to try and get through the flooded road that goes under a bridge (even though there were signs saying its closed). Made it about a quarter of the way through, so the guy bailed out. Unfortunately for him its a stretch of road used frequently by lorries leaving the powerstation, and everytime one went past it coated his car in more water :p
