Okay, here is the story:
Willy the cory got both his eyes torn out. I put him into the 5 gallon to heal. He would do this weird floaty thing where he couldn't stay on the substrate. His head area Would float up, then his tail, then his whole body. I decided to wait it out. He did heal, but this morning he was acting lethargic. I decided to put him with his friends, back in the sorority. (He had no signs of sickness, was acting lonely) He started doing the floaty thing AGAIN, so I left him, hoping it would go away. I checked on him later to find him still, tail clamped, and a shrimp picking on him. (Like he was eating him)I poked Willy and, after a few seconds, got up and started to eat and do the floaty thing. I checked on him even later and the eye that wasn't really torn out all the way was hanging out and bloody. I've temporarily moved him to the 5 gallon, and now his tail is clamped, he is doing the floaty thing.

I know this sounds mean, but I've one hand on the clove oil. Willy is driving me NUTS!
Is it SBD?
He is the only cory ever picked on.

:(

Am sorry to hear this LG.

Poor little cory.

Not sure if its swim bladder or not, difficult to tell tbh.

Is there any other information or symptoms you can give?

It's like he's giving up. I knew he was alive, but he let the shrimp "eat" him. He has now put himself in a little nest of sand and has clamped his tail. Not much else I can give. :/

Update: He is kinda sitting tilted sideways next to the glass. I feel for this little guy. :(
I accidentally disturbed him and he swam about ate a bit, then settled back down, tail clamped.
Now he is swimming and eating slowly. This fish will kill me.

Hah! Forgot to mention! There is red streaking on the base of his fins!

That sounds almost like Septicemia. Look into it, he would need antibiotics if this is the case.

Not to be rude, but are you sure? I know our old goldfish got them because of stress.
The redness is only on the base of his side fins, for lack of a better word.

Without seeing the fish I couldn't say, just basing it off your discription. That's why is aid to look into it. You can see it, we can't.

Sorry if that sounds offensive.
Willy died at midnight last night, he was upside-down at the top.
Thank you to all that helped out anyway. :)

:( Sorry to hear that LG

Have to say am not all that surprised, but at least he's not suffering anymore, keep an eye on the other cories just to be safe.

all three of my cories died with a very similar discription {in a week)

He was the smallest, so maybe he was defected? Dunno.
All the other cories are acting dandy, which is good. I want no more floaty thing. :D

Sometimes animals of all shapes and sizes just die. Sad as it is.
