Rabbut's Full Discus Set-up/break-down Sold

Hi all. I will be listing both Hardware and Livestock in this one thread, as I'm looking to sell the set-up complete ideally, but I will split it if I can get offers for all the Livestock and most of the Hardware. Obviously, hardware cannot go until the fish have. The combined Livestock and hardware thread has already been OK'ed by BigC, as has a link to this thread form the livestock sub-section (thank's BigC).

I'm going to list each item/fish(es) separately to help if I split the set-up, and place the amount I'd like for the full set-up at the bottom...

The set-up as it is, looks like this;

Note, while offers are noted next to items of equipment, I would still prefer to sell this complete. I will take up offers once I have offers on enough livestock to make splitting the tank set-up down worth the while. It is available complete until I take the decision to break down the tank. If I break the tank down, people's offers will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Special note. The tank weighs about 100KG, and I am the only person able to help out, out of everyone in my family. With extra notice, I may be able to talk a couple on neighbours/friends into helping, but it will help if you can supply some muscle to move this item... It took 4 of us to get it in, and we'll need at least that to get it out again...

For the whole set-up, I'm looking for about £600 for it all in one. Buying individually at the currently listed price, it would cost about £660. The full set-up will take a full day to move (I'd start at about 9:00 to be ready for you to turn-up and inspect before purchase at about 11:00, you'd be good to go at about 13:00, and then you've got to set-up again at your end), and at least 2 extra people aside from yourself and a van will be needed, unless you are having the set-up delivered, due to the weight and size of items. Despite this, selling the whole lot in one is my preference, as I can get it all over and done with in one go. If you get the whole set-up, I'll throw in a pressurised CO2 kit, spare filter floss pads and a few Tetras for free also.

I'm open to offers. Please post offers in the thread, clearly stating what your making an offer for, or wanting more photos/details of, as per this sections rules, and I'll try get back to your ASAP.

The water stats were are as below on the last check.

Nitrate; usually about 12.5ppm

In relation to the discus are they all around 6"...no offence intended but they don't look it in the pics.

The Discus sizes are estimates (total length). All bar 6 and 7 are about the same size. 6 and 7 are smaller, about 3 and 4" respectively. I can catch and measure individuals for an accurate measurement if it's a major issue, I'm just avoiding putting them though the stress of it when I've no offers that depend on it

With the Sterbai, how many would you be interested in, and would you require postage?

Jagz, Postage to Birmingham is going to be £15.47 all in, for next day before 9:00AM delivery, or £5.84 for next day before 13:00. I'd prefer the first option, packing with air only, as 13:00 is starting to push the Oxygen-supply if they are towards the end of the delivery window... If that's OK, let me know and you'll go down on first dibbs for the Corry group unless Weimster beats you to saying yes For the L66, postage would be £15.09 for pre 9:00, £5.84 for pre 13:00. Jagz is down for second dibbs on the L66, unless postage is too much for him on them?

Emma12321 was also mainly interested in the L66, and is Ok with the wait involved if I split the tank, so I'd foresee the sale of both to you as slim. I'll pencil you down anyway Jagz, but don't get your hopes up too high

Anyone putting a second dibbs on the corries is quite likely to get them with this "chain" as it were, so it's still worth putting in an offer, as Emma12321 would have to pull out of the L66 sale for Jagz to take the

OK, if you understand you need a van and two "helpers" capable of lifting about 30-40KG each (assuming you yourself can lift that comfortably), I'll put you down on first dibbs for the tank

With hardware, I'll contact you after all the livestock has been collected, just to avoid promising a date, only to not be able to let you take it as stock is still dependant on the hardware...

Ok thats cool just know we are in london, so will be coming to you to pick it up, We have a Golf Hatchback 4 door im sure we could fit that tank on the back seat. As for the weight, me and my mate do gym so we should be fine lifting it
