Hello all, I recently added a poso orange rabbit snail to my 10g shrimp tank, about a month ago. Everything is fine with the snail itself, I'm just worried it might not be getting enough food as there's 80-100 RCS and hundreds of pest snails. The tank is heavely planted and I try not to overfeed, but the pest snails just keep coming. I'm removing them by hand but I'm also ordereing a few assassin snails, which brings me to the rabbit snail. Would he be fine in a 2.5 gallon for maybe 2-4 weeks, the tank is filtered, heated, and cycled with 10-15 shrimp. There's also plenty of plants and I do 1/4-1/2 gallon water changes every 3 days.

What are you going to do with the rabbit snail after the pest snails are gone? I have heard of assassins taking down even bigger snails so would be concerned about putting the rabbit back in.

I'd think it should be fine for a bit in the 2.5 though.

Assassins took out my rabbit snail the first night I got it. As Nin said, make sure you have a plan for the assassins after.
