so, I have a few rabbit snails (Tylomelania sarasimorum ) in several tanks, in one tank, 2 snails have been on the same big pothos root for several days, this tank isn't in a area of the house I spend much time in, so I've not witnessed them having relations... I believe these snails are sexual, and live bearers, but seems unusual for 2 snails in the same 55 gallon, to spend the bulk of a week, on the same root... do you think I'll find a baby snail soon???

3-4 days in the same spot, and they've gone their own way... lots of roots in this tank as well... some anubis nana behind it obscures the shape a little, this snail is on the side glass now...

not sure if no one has any experience with rabbit snails or not... they are new to me, as part of diversifying some of my fish tanks... so I guess I'll have to look at the faulted AI info on line... they are in a cooler water aquarium, with my Bitterlings, and are yellow rabbit snails, if that makes a difference, though they aren't as yellow as the sellers pictures... so I'm unsure if they'll breed in these conditions???

spent a while researching... again quite a variance on information... at least one reference says 74 degrees F. for a low temp( most are higher ) so I'm below 74, yet these are more visible and active than the same snails in my other warmer water tanks???

all this disparagy in information is disqusting... which leads me to end up trying things... some times too much information is just as bad as no information, if it doesn't agree...

I've never did something special to a tank while keeping those rabbit snails. From time to time I just saw 1-2 newborns. And after some months the ritual started right over again. I also haven't paid attention how the process went every time. A newborn just showed up. And if they have hidden themselves in the gravel before showing up, I really don't know.
I still keep them and they're kept at 18-20°C water temperature (depending on the season).
