I have an R/O Unit for my saltwater marine tank, could I use pure R/O water for a Brackish Set-up??

If you want, yes. But there's no real advantage. Salt reduces the toxicity of nitrate significantly, so that fish that sensitive to nitrate in freshwater (e.g., mollies) are indifferent to it in brackish water. Obviously the lower the nitrates, the better. But if your tap water supply has nitrates below 50 mg/l, I'd always recommend people go with tap water rather than RO water because [a] its easier and because it's cheaper, they're more likely to do big, regular water changes.

Cheers, Neale
