here are the results with the API Frshwater Test Kit.

PH 7.6
PH HIGH 7.8
AMMONIA 0.25
NITRITE 0
NITRATE 0

I also did a cleanup, cleaned all plants, rocks, glass inside, heater, and aeration tubeing etc. Did a gravil clean extensive clearing about 90% of the aquarium water. i will test again tomorrow to see if anything has changed.

hmmmm i think i may have triggered a cycle after doing that large water change yesterday. my water this morning is very cloudy and has a slight smell

either this test kit tells false or something else is going on. i did another test and everything came back the same but yet the water is cloudy and smelly?

Red bums is usally internal parasites I agree with colin, humans get inflamed red bums when they have internal parasites.
Does your water smell like rotten eggs or sulphur as that can be a sign of a bad bacteria infection in your tank.

i did a mini water change yesterday but it remained cloudy, but this morning it is much better. the smell was earthy like.
