People open sell livestock on Ebay. Quite a few of us have bought fish from there. It's where my Pygmys came from.

Just as a little update, I thought I'd mention that this tank with its incredibly overstocked inhabitants is now upto £62... With the reserve still not met!

This has got me thinking, as I am genuinely concerned for the welfare of these poor fish...
Has anyone got any experience in contacting the RSPCA about situations like this?
If someone contacted RSPCA, could they then enforce the disclosure by Ebay of the seller's address, so that these poor fish can be rescued and the current owner repremanded?

Even if the reserve is met at the aution, I'm worried that the buyer might be clueless about what they are taking on in terms of seperating the tankmates at least four ways.

although it is a disgrace to see fish like this,he maybe dosen't know better,and i know he should have done research before buying any fish,but how many times have we seen on these RSPCA programs about the little old woman/man having 20- 30 cats of dogs living in squalid conditions,but has never meant them any harm,just thought they were doing the best for them.sad but true
