Quiet Pump

Hi. I need a new pump for my airstone. The one I'm using is droning and vibrating and generally getting on my nerves and probably my downstairs neighbours nerves too! Anyway I know its the wrong section but there's more people on here to give advice! I only need a small pump to drive one little airstone for my 2 footer. Can someone tell me which is the most silent that I can get please. It must be VERY quiet as its in the living room and if the weather gets warm it will be on quite a lot! I'm not very 'up' on pumps so don't know any of the good makes so any advice wil be most welcome. Thanks

tetratec or rena air pumps are good...i use rena at min and its very quiet

Thanks rsands, the one I've got now is an interpet. Wanted advice off here before I got to my lfs cos they will blind me with science and sell me whichever make they like and I'd rather be armed with some info. Like I said it must be an ultra quiet one. Ooh, a second opinion on Rena while I was typing this! Thanks augustaranger!

I will also recommend the Rena pumps. I own 4 of them. Unless they get set off level and vibrate, they are dead quiet.
