Hi all, following advice from people on here i'm getting rid of a couple of kribs to a mate and keeping all of one sex. So ive fished 2 out into bags and 2 still in tank so i can see them easier.

I could do with knowing the sex of the following please

The one in the last picture, in the back round is a female. The other fish are all males. The first pic makes the male look stunted.

No, it means one male is going to have to go. The first one you posted would be my choice. He's been bullied. You can tell by his drained color, and he's fairly skinny. I'd keep the male and female.

i dont want them to breed hence keeping one sex.

His colours are the same as the others its because he was in a bag held agaisnt the light cause the camera wouldnt focus at all before.

Thanks
Lee

It looks like he's been bullied. If you have 2 males together, they will fight each other until one dies.

really? ah right, theres currently 4 males in there - never seen them fighting will have to nip some back to the fish shop then

Yeah, right now they aren't fighting because they have not acquired their territory yet. Give it a few days.

they've been in there about 2-3month now, probably longer than that - i have a male and female before which had babies and i gave 5 away and have whats left.

That is extremely surprising, I have never had 2 males together that didn't attempt to kill each other constantly. How big is the tank? Are there a lot of hiding places? What else is in there?

Tank is 32"L x 41"H x 12"W

Theres not loads of hiding places but a few, stock is:

5x male guppy
8x tectra
1x red tail shark
1x female betta
1x catfish
3x king tiger plec (only babies, will rehome 2 of these when a bit bigger currently about 1")
4x male krib
1x female krib

32"L x 41"H x 12"W

= 15744 inch^3

15744 inch^3 / (12x12x12) = 9.11 ft^3

multiply by ~7.5 to get US gallons

9.11ft^3 * 7.5 = ~68 US gals.

Quite a decent size tank which make sense why more than one male is surviving in there OK.
