Does ONE of these canisters provide enough filtration for a fully stocked 90 gallon tank? Or should I start saving for a second now?

The product sheet says it works for aquariums up to 175 gallons. Personally, I'd feel more comfortable with more filtration. I have an XP3 on my 55 gallon, and I'd probably add a smaller XP for a bigger tank.

It's up to you. It would probably get the job done. (I'm a nut about these things.)

Now I’m all worried about under filtration. I have two other aquarium specs I want to run past you all.

On a 15 gallon tall (13.5”L x 13.5”W x 20”T) I have one Regent Aqua-Tech 20-40. On a 5.5 gallon I have one of the 5-15 models. These are a cheap brand of filter I bought at Walmart. There is no bio-wheel and the filter is cartridge based.

Thanks,
Plan.
