Quick question

what are some good fishes to put in a 10 gallon freshwater fish tank? right now I have 2 gouramis and a baby plako. is that a good mix so far? what other fishes will mix good wit these fishes? Thanks in advanced

some get quite big in size.. same for the gouramis...

normal fish for a ten gal are somthing that are small.. and will stay small..


my bf's tank is a 15.somthin or another all hes got in his is

2 frogs
3 flame tetras
4 danios (mixed)
3 peppered corys
1bristlnose plec (stays small so no worries)


i wont let him add anymore

some tetras, danios or swordtails might not be bad. Eventually you'll need a bigger tank for the pleco or will have to get rid of it. I'm in the same situation. I have a 10 gallon now but im upgrading to a 38 since my fish are getting bigger quickly. I still don't know what i want in it though. cichlids or rainbowfish
