Quick Question

I'm going to be fast.
18 gallon with a pleco inside. Going to buy more fish today. Should I buy some female betta and make it a sorority or buy guppy or molly?
And how many of each would be good for the tank?

Can't really recommend anything from that info...

Dimensions of tank and hardness of water would help.

What kind of pleco? I wouldnt do a sorority, mollies get too big, and guppies will take over your tank.

Okay, I did a betta with some neon tetras. The betta was too beautiful to leave behind. They're doing very well together.

18 gallons sound too small for a BN or a zebra plec

I can't think of any pleco species that would be small enough for an 18 gallon.

That being said, I know what you mean about the betta... that thought has managed to sneak a betta into every single one of my fish tanks, even ones full of fish that are bad tankmates for them... strangely enough they usually do fine!
