they mouthbrood ... but i dont thin my yellow labs will get large enough to hol the synos kids... or would they ?

ive seen it mostly in larger tanganyikan and open water cichlids

I think it would be unlikely that labs would host, they have very small mouths compared to most mbuna. I'm thinking larger species like P.acei or P.crabro might work, you'd have to have a pretty large tank though. That said, any mouthbrooder can be a host, I just think the larger mouthed ones are more likely, don't quote me on that though. Stranger things have happened where cichlids occur.
