Quick Question

hi all am adding laterite to my tank hopefully today but was just wondering washing it i have been washing and washing it but my keeps running red is this normal and does the water need to run clear before its added to the tank

I dont think it does, i'll just make the tank a bit cloudy for a day or two, but that should harm the fish inluess its really, really think with it.

EDIT - sorry just re-read that, it shouldN'T harm the fish woops!

cheers for that themuleous i was starting to lose my mind with it my temper was going the colour of the water wondering why its not running clear just been rinsing again and seems to be clearing a little bit but not much
