I have one julii cory and found out that they like to be in groups. Was wondering if I have to stick with julii or if another type of cory will help my new one feel more at home. I have a small tank and would like to have as much variety as possible. There is not a lot of selection available in my area, but was thinking I might put a green cory in with ithe julii as they stay small, too. (Sorry don't know the latin name, but it is green iridencenty kind of color. How's that for a technical description  )

Cories prefer a group of their own species. Different species will hang together and shoal together, but they are happiest if they have some specie mates.

That is my understanding anyway, although I am far from a Cory expert in this forum.

Edit: When I say different species will shoal together, I mean some species prefer the company of some other species.
