Hey I'm going out for the weekend,

Was just wondering what I should do with the light in my tank...

I haven't got an automatic timer switch thing yet so for the meantime I normally leave the light on each day for between 10-13hours a day and turn it on/off manually...

But obviously no-one is going to be in...

any help would be appreciated :)

What's in the tank at the mo? Just fish?

If there are no live plants then they'll be alright without the light for a couple of days.

Well they may suffer a bit over the weekend, but to be honest...people manage to post plants across the world in complete darkness...

Shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Will they get some sort of daylight? Not direct of course, but so long as there is some light around they probably wont just die after 2 days! Hehe.

Well I have windows right across one wall... so anywhere in my flat is kinda 'direct' sunlight lol...

But I have blinds up and closed all the time... Maybe I could leave them opened slightly to let more light in over the weekend?
