baby brine need to be cultivated and it takes some time from what i can recall. The process is where the eggs are placed in (for want of a better term) an upside down traffic cone( but not quite as big) with a tap on the bottom. THe cone is airiated and when you wish to harvest the live brine u simply turn off the air. The brine then sink to the bottom as they become starved of oxygen and the eggs float to the top. You can then turn on the tap and tap off the brine to feed to your fry :)

OR
you could look in the buy sell and sway and buy some micro worm !! :)

Another method of getting fry food, which was apparently used alot before fry foods were invented was this;

Leave some lettuce leaves in a jar full of water on a window ledge in a sunny place. After a couple of days you will notice the water starts to go green and the lettuce is disintegrating, it is been eaten by mirco organisms. Chuck the green water in the tank and let the fry feast on it :) .

This is apparently also what many fish fry eat in the wild :thumbs: .
You can also get hold of handy tubs of freezedried brine shrimp now days if you dont wan to go through the hassle of raising your own- i feed my fry a mix of freezedried brine shrimp, liquid fry foods and regular dried flake/dust fry foods depending on what stage in development the fry are :thumbs: :) .

for fry you can also crush flakefood into a fine powder and feed them that

I currently have 6 molly fry in a breeder and they're doing great and growing (well seem to be it could just be a proud pappa thinking they are). I feed them a mixture of crushed flake food about times a day (very little) and once Frozen brine shrimp thawd out. i just pinch a couple of the shrimps once thawd and toss em in the breeder. The little guys go nuts the love it. Then i dump the rest of the thawd in the tank for the larger fish and the frog. Well i have to bring it down to him with my fingers or he wont get even a bite. The other fish also love the stuff. Yeah he's the spoiled one gets a delivery every time in on my lunch from school. :)

Well good luck with the fry
