Quick Question Bout Holding

i know its probally a really silly question but my yellow lab has been holding for 3weeks on monday. but when i watch her i try looking to see if i can see fry yet but all i can see is what i can onmly describe as i blob of black . now is that still the eggs or do i need to go get some glasses then look lol.
how long does it take for the eggs to hatch in her mouth

after about 14 days you should see fry with egg sacs in mummies mouth - black hey - is this through the mouth opening or through the skin?

maybe a pair of glasses may help - not sure
they will stay there or another 2 weeks before release.

yellow labs tend to hold long ie over 4 weeks regulary.

btw - do you have any catfish in the tank?

i can see black on the sides of her face & through her mouth what little bit she opens it lol.
not catfish in there she in a holding tank on her own with plenty of hiding places for her.
i'm sure i've not seen any fry yet, just let me go check dates. yep its def 3 weeks on mon i first noticed her holding

well there are def babies in there just seen 2 out of her mouth but as i looked up she sucked them back in again. . hopefully it won't be long before she spits them for good cos shes looking a bit skinny now

Wow they were spat on my birthday jus a quick question, i have recently had Fry spat from my Yellow Lab aswell, for the first time, but i was unsure as to how long she was holding them for, do yours seem to be yellow at all? or are they still just a pale white/clear?? thanks Congrats on the fry aswell!!

at the moment they are still white/clear. i'm still keeping mum away from dad as well so she can gain some weight back but babies are doing well

congrats. I have just had my second lot tonight she spat 3 about 5 days ago so tonight i stripped her, first time i have tried it ,scary.

she did not lose much weight so i put her straight back in the main tank and within 5 mins my male wants a bit.

one of the reasons she is not in same tank as him as well is because i can't catch him. they moved last week & i can't catch some of them lol
