Quick Help Please...

he seems to acting normally, but has this weird whitest swollen bit on him? could someone tell me what it is

it's aa fish lice,

are you sure? it looks internal

if you are talking about the brown lump on top of his dorsal (top) fin then yes it looks like a fish lice (Argulus). You can cut the lice's head off with a pr of scissors and use a pr of tweezers to remove it from the fish. Then watch the fish for signs of secondary bacterial and fungal infections. It should be ok after you remove it.

do you mean the black circled section? because in this picture it just looks like a healthy full belly to me? maybe if you can take a better picture we can see the problem more clearly (not that its too bad a picture generally, i just can't see what the problem you are talking about is)

p.s the striped effect is amazing, is he actually stripy like that? or is it just the effect of the flash?

if thats normal then im just paranoid lol its my first betta and i just asumed something was wrong as it looks a tad mis coloured from the rest of the body, but i will try and get a better picture just incase

No that just looks like his belly to me. There's nothing wrong that I can see.
