Quick Discus Vid

That Ghost is a stunner IMO :good:

:( Bad news with the Ghost. I found him on the floor last night by chance. My foot brushed up against something wet underneath my bed. At first I thought my new puppy had decided to eliminate there, but to my surprise it was that ghost on the floor. :shout: No idea how long he had been there, he was all the way across the room at that point! :/

He didn't look to be breathing, very sticky. I threw him in a net and hung it on the side of my main tank and he began to start breathing again. Put him in my water holding tank (for water changes) last night with some filter media from the main tank and one of the bubblers. He was looking alright late last, he has cloudy eyes, shedding slime coat and torn fins, but still swimming. Today he is swimming around upside down and in circles. Doing 10% water changes every other hour, and keeping a close eye on him. Lets hope he pulls through

Definitely going to invest in some Plexiglas for the top of the aquarium.

Hope he pulls thorugh ok :flowers: ,
your fish all look beautiful.

Thanks.

Still not looking so good. He has started lying on his side and breathing more slowly. He will perk up after a water change so I have upped it to once an hour.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but not sure if he will pull through. :/

 sorry to hear that. at least he's not suffering now. :rip:

silly fishes. my male gourami has jumped out before, but luckily when we were there & my hubby's quick reactions (&lack of panic mode -unlike moi  ) meant he was back in the tank in a jiffy & lived to jump another day (we hear a thud on the tank hood every now & then.)

hope the rest of your fish behave themselves Discuslova.

Thanks for the kind comment.

I should have known though, because he had jumped out before. Thankfully I was right there at the tank and was able to throw him back in without any harm done. I thought that it couldn't happen a second time :/ Guess I underestimated the jumpyness of these fish. Getting a lid tomorrow on payday.

Yea I went without a lid for about a week on my tank, which was stupid considering how often I can hear them jump up and bang onto it when I have it on. I was home the first and last time one made it out of the tank. I heared a loud thud in the middle of the night that woke me up in the otherside of the house. Went out and found my largest male laying about 10 ft away under my dining room table. Put him right back in and he acted as if nothing had happened. The lid that I removed because it had cracked in two, probably from them hitting it went back on temoparilly until I had it replaced.
