Hey,

Thought I would post a quick video of my Discus. Tank is a little murky after doing a good algae scrub.

lovely fish but i have to ask a question. often i see people with discus in bare empty tanks like yours with no substrate or decor. why is that?

Thanks for the replies.

BB tanks are much easier to keep clean, which is extremely important when raising small Discus!

That one is a grow out, although I doubt I will be adding gravel once they are full grown.

i have to be honest the bare tank whilst practical for your needs doesnt appeal to me purely on an astetic level. but obviously you know what you are doing as you have some lovely healthy looking fish there.

Well, I actually don't mind it too much. It looks very clean IMO!

I mean, even if it is plain, I would rather have nice fish then a nice tank.

i like the checkerboard one best. i agree about plain tanks, i always feel sorry for the discus and think they must be bored

I always enjoy a video they always seem better than a pic sometimes. I see that yours are budding movie stars Not shy, fighting to see who is next in the shot. LOL
