Quick Breeding Question

hey all
im planning on breeding my bettas again
what pair sounds the best?
-white/pink VT male with solid red SD female
-white/pink VT male with orange/black PK female
-solid red PK male with solid red SD female
-solid red PK male with orange/black PK female
the male PK has never built a bubblenest though while the VT has one already done
also have a black and blue CT male but his not in the right condition for breeding atm

Hmm, I personally would probably go for this on

solid red PK male with orange/black PK female

you could try using bubble wrap or styrafoam or conditioning or whatnot to help him with his bubbles?

Hey I would use the plakat boy!! with either of the females! Don't worry about the bubblenesting thing. I have a male that I desperatly wanted to breed! but he never built bubblenests. So I decided to try him anyway. A lo and behold as soon as he figured out what was going on he blew one of the biggest bubblenests I've ever seen!

i may go for the plakats
yea my CT blows big bubbles and makes high nexts then my VT blows small bubbles and big nests then the PK once blow really small bubbles and it was a really small mest lol
anyone else like to say which ones they think i should do?

I go for the PK pair as well.

You can always pinch a bubblenest from the other guys to give the plakat the idea

i agree, after your VTs build their nests (since you said they do it better) carefully scoop it out with a small cup and carefully place it in the spot that you want the intended breeding male to build his nest. he will add to it and before you know it you will have a bigger nest than you ever expected.

it may take him some time, but just keep adding bubles and using other mediums until he gets the idea. he will learn it in no time at all.

Anything BUT the VT! heheh... no really, the Plakat pair sounds good. You should gets lots of fun colors from that spawn! Good luck.
