quick apple snail question

how comes my 2 apple snails keep floating on the water serface??

there not dead cause i keep seeing them com out of there shells

Don't worry its completely normal, mine do the same all the time. When they travel up the tank wall and take on air from the surface, they sometimes release themselves from the glass and float away. I guess that in the wild they would use this to travel quickly? I dont know, but sounds good to me. Have you seen http/www.applesnail.net ? It has loads of useless info like that, good site IMO.

i was worried about that too but mine are growing well and very healthy so it can't be a problem

i wondered why they were called apple snails until i saw several of mine grazing on some plants then just letting go and falling to the ground, looked just like an apple harvest.
