Questions Regarding My New Tank Setup - Feedback Please

i also have a spare aquastart 320,so i used my old tank water and filled it up,used some media from my 405,and popped it in my fluval mini,and now i have a little home for a betta!! i still gotta plant it though!!

i say betta,but i may put somethig else in there!!

what do ya think of the main tank?

side note. the plant on the front left isnt an aquatic plant- it will rot, its called dracnea or something, they are commomly found sold as aquatic plants tho maybe plant it and put it on the window sill

oh no!! can i confront the lfs and ask why they sold me it if it isnt a aquatic plant!!

dont suppose it will hurt to try- maybe ask for an exchange, tho like i said lots and lots ( myself included) have bought them from LFS as aquatic, you maybe lucky it maybe ok, but in all honesty i doubt it

The top one is made by 'reef one' and is the one normally sold with biorbs and the other is a different brand I havent seen before.

I really like the flow your tank has from edge to edge. You've clearly spent alot of time planning and planting, it works great.

yep thats right!!

a bio-orb digital thermometer and a juwel digital thermometer

i also have out of picture a probe into the tank that go's to another digital thermometer!!

you may ask why so many ,lol

well the juwel came with the tank,the bio-orb i had on my other tank,and the digital unit with probe i tend to find the most accurate with my heater.

all 3 have different readings,the juwel is way out and will be coming out on the next water change.

the bio-orb is a good unit and is just abit out,and the digital probe unit is almost spot on!! This is going by setting my Rena to 26!!

the heater could be out,but in my experiance,and of rena's,they are pretty accurate

by the way seachem purigen = pure sweetness

this stuff is a must!!

oh yes,its cleared right up!!

the seachem purigen i use has cleared everything up.

i will get some more piccys,when im home from work

here are a few more,sorry they are virtualy the same as before,but the water is crystal clear now.

i will get some close ups,different angles when the isnt toys all over te place,lol

by the way,the black gravel is ace for seeing where all the poops are,easier cleaning me thinks
