Title: "Rare aquarium fish read this please"
Text:
Can I keep a Melanocetus johnsonii in an aquarium? If so in how many litres? what setup?
Don't MOD EDIT about, no stupid answers please!

How can you answer seriously to a question like this?

I think "no" is about the only answer that wouldn't be described as stupid.

For goodness sake! I don't think pressurised tanks are commercially available, are they?

The level of stupid on Yahoo Answers is, quite frankly, enough to make me :shout:

I doubt it, you'd need to go for a custom design and build for god knows what vast amount of money.

Yeah...
I mentioned this one because it is particularly unusual, but the average is pretty poor, and often many of the good answers are drowned by completely ridiculous ones, like "sure, five goldfish will be fine in 20 litres, just remember to change the water every month".

Indeed. My ex actually looked into this about 20 years ago, as we wanted to keep deep sea, bioluminescent jellyfish, and it was up into the £10 000 mark, just for the tank (it has to be a special, sort of concave lens shape, I seem to remember)!

Yes, it seems like people just pick the answer they want to hear, rather than the one that has the best interests of the fish at heart
