Questions About The Coralife Pc Light Unit...

I got a coralife PC light fixture that has 2 65 watts bulb...I was just wonderin If you actually need to change the bulbs after 1 year of use I have this light fixture now for a year or so and I haven't really use the 2 bulbs together, but alternate them each week since they both have different switch..I know the manufacturer recommends it, but how much intensity does the bulb actually lose in a year of usage???....Sorry for the questions, but I don't have a budget for a new set of PC bulbs right now....thanks in advance....

Mine are still new, but people replace them when they go out.
