my rtbs seems to be eating nothing in the tank, but he is still living. would he like cucumber, or what should I feed him??? I just feed tropical flakes, i dont know what else to feed them, please help!

frozen or live foods? have you tried them...eg tubifex, bloodworms..etc

I have never tried them, would those be good for him? whatever he will eat.

yes they are very good..bearing in mind they are a supplement you cant just feed them that all the time or he will get constipated......you could also try peas...

i feed my fish like this for a healthy balanced diet

monday-flakes/ flake veggies + algae waffer
tuesday-flakes/meaty flakes
wednesday-nothing
thursday-flakes/flake veggies as well as peas and frozen spinach +algae waffer
friday-flakes/meaty flake as well as frozen meaty food
saturday-flakes/flake veggies +algae waffer
sunday-flakes/meaty flakes as well as another typ of frozen meaty food

i feed a variety of frozen meaty foods inc: - red mosquito larve,white mosquito larve,artemia,krill,mysis,tubifex,daphina, and bloodworms +more

edit- most days i feed small portions and few times a day- just enough so they all get there fair share without leftovers...good luck

ok, thank you for all your help, I will go to the pet store tomorrow, and buy some tubifex worms and all the other things you recommended, and will keep a schedule of what I feed them.

it makes it so much easier...then i know what ive feed them and i can alternate ive written it on my whiteboard so i can see it everyday and not forget!

oh yea i forgot to add that on the days where i say veggie flakes i also ment algae waffers ill change it hehe
