Im going on spring break this friday and I was wondering if I could submerge this small tank inside of my ten gallon for 9 days while I'm away so it could keep the water inside of the small tank flowing.
I was wondering if I could do that so the water wouldnt be so dirty. Even though im going to do a water change before I leave. Im feeding them a couple times a day right now. Kinda spoiling them sense they won't eat while im gone.

Heres the tank:

Hi
There might be a slight problem that your bettas wouldn't be able to breath if you submerge it.

Cheers

eh!! i so forgot about that ::smacks self:: lol.... geez..

do you have any suggestions on how to make sure they stay well why im gone considering this small tank needs many water changes.

I might just have to take these two with me considering they dont have a filter..

Hi

I see you have an empty 2.5 gallon tank. Could you make a little divider and transfer them to that? With more volume of water the toxins wouldn't be so concentrated.

I think that even though they wont be fed the toxins would still rise quite high in their present tank.

Sorry cant be more help, if you live closer, LOL, we could look after them.

Thinking the exact same. Put one in the 10g, and the other in the 2.5. Why were you keeping them in something so small when you had the room to move them?

A 2-way breeding trap might work for this situation, just make sure they can't jump out into the tank or into the other trap. A 3-way breeding trap would be even better to give them the one trap buffer between them.

Something like this would do:

I know it's not much room, but it'll circulate with the tank water and they'll be able to breath.

im in college.. i dont have the 2.5 with me.. its at home.. i only have my 10, my 1 gallon and the one the male bettas are in for the time being.. my 30, 55, and 2.5 are at home with my parents...

ill have 2 buy two dividers for my ten gallon to seperate the males and the females in the tank....

ill just have 2 end up takin the poor babies with me since they r the one ones that dont have a filter....
