I was wondering if I should get my 2 male gold gourami a female gold gourami for each. Currently, the males are in two separate tanks so they cannot fight. But is it better to get 2 female for each male like I seen some post or one would be fine? Also, would it be possible to put the two males together if I get them females? Or should I just keep the 2 males but separate?

I have a 55 gallon with one and a 20 gallon for the other. In the 55 I have 2 angelfish, 2 german blue rams, a common pleco, one male gourami, an upside down catfish, and an asain upside down catfish. In the 20 I have 3 danios and the other male gourami.

You are best keeping them seperate to be honest as the Gold Gouramies are aggressive towards each other. You acn try putting a couple of females in but you may find the male is quite territorial and may harass them.
