So i have just introduced fish into my new aquarium and I have a question regarding feeding my red-tailed shark. He is with 5 tiger barbs and being that he is a bottom dweller im curious how i should go about feeding him. The flakes i dropped in earlier were quickly gobbled up by the barbs. I also have frozen blood worms. How do i make sure my shark is getting fed???

he will soon realise the food is at the top and be the all over the flakes :) if u have bloodworms they will sink alot faster than flakes so some may get down to him .... but id only use them on a variety of days for a balanced diet

It will soon learn to come up and get his share. Mine has

Thanks. Yes i had planned to use fish flakes everyday and blood worms every three days or so. What other fish might go well with the tiger barbs and red-tailed shark?? will having another bottom dweller such as a cory be a problem?

corys are sooo peaceful and may get hassled and nipped by your fish tbh, you could try them but just give them plenty o hidey spaces :) what size is your tank btw?

the feeding routine seems good aswell

slightly different, but my black shark munches on algae wafers if he can persuade my bristlenose to give it up.

Swish your flake around in an egg cup of your tank water and you will find it will slowly sink instead of floating on the top giving everyone a chance.
