Question On Danios

I have three of these guys. I am told they are Danio kyathit

I was wondering if it would be ok to buy a different type of danio so they could all school together. I'm having a hard time finding more of these type near me and I would rather have a school of the same type of fish. Or, does anyone know a place online where I might be able to obtain some?

TFF's expert on Danios is The Wolf (there's a link to lots of Danio pics in his signature - Oh, no there isn't ... he's obviously chnaged it!) .... but the second picture looks exactly like my Danio kyathit.

Mine will shoal with the pearl danios and ... to a lesser extent ... with the zebra/leopard danios but they definitely prefer their own kind.

As to where to get them .... I guess Nottingham isn't too handy for you?!

the second pic is definatly D.kyathit (spotted variety)
the first (and it is hard to tell) looks more like DanioSp. burma
or what are often referred to in the trade as fire-ring danios.

I think they are all kyathit. They don't have spots on the fins like the burma pictures show.
Yea, Nottingham is too far. I'm in the States x.x I was thinking of getting more danios but I haven't seen more of the ones I have in any petstores by me. So don't know of any place online I might get some? :\ Might have to get other danios or ask the place I got them from if they can get some for me. How many total should be a good group? 6-10? I have 3 of them in a 55 gal with 2 angels, 2 blue rams, a gourami, and a pleco.
