question for the wolf

my question is for the wolf,can white spot control help with ectoparasites, and also i have velvet medication too. does any of these help?

This is what PM's are for And why just for wolf? A lot of people know about questions having to do with Meds.

I would say turn your temperature slowly up, then in a hsopital tank, try the ich med. I used it once to get rid of some parasite I could find the name for, and it worked.

and i was asking for the wolf as i asked earlier if anyone could tell me what was on my danios it looks like green algae, he replied telling me it sounds like ectoparasite he told me to treat with sterazin, but the only treatments i have at hand is white spot control and antislime and velvet from interpet

If you haven't already got your answer, ectoparasites are pretty much any parasite that attacks the outside of the host so ich and velvet are ectoparasites. A greenish substance on your fish might well be velvet so velvet treatment would help. Ich and velvet treatments usualy contain pretty much the same things anyway. It could also be extra slime being produced by the fish due to irritation. Treating for the parasite should help with this too. If it's something else, you may need to physicaly remove the parasite (though can't think of anything that causes a greenish color to show) and salt usualy helps with others. I don't know but have you checked the labels on the treatments you have? They might contain sterazin so you could use those if they do. I'd treat for velvet as that's what it sounds like to me. Of course I don't know what else you may have mentioned to The Wolf so follow his instructions if what I have suggested doesn't seem to apply.

silvia is correct; however danios do not fair very well with salt.

To comfirm, yes you can use your white spot control or velvet treatment ,as the active ingrediant will be the same as a broad range anti-parasite like Sterazin
