I live in England and recently we have been having some nice weather! The downside is my fish tank is getting hotter than it's ever been before; during the day it goes over 27C and at the moment it never gets much higher than that because I point my fan on it. However, I'm going away on Friday for a week (I have a nice non-plaster-of-Paris holiday feeder) and I'm worried the tank might overheat while I'm away. I have 3 mollies, 2 gourami, 4 guppies, 2 juli corries and a yellow sucking loach, what do you think the maximum temperature this tank could reach without harming the fish is?

P.S. I can't leave the fan on while I'm away because the people I live with like to keep a close eye on the purse strings!

first off only use holiday feeders as a last resort, secondly i should worry to much as its probably going to rain again soon :p
but if not then leave the lid off and close all curtains and stuff to keep the room cool-ish, thats about as much info as i can give you without knowing if anyone will be around to do anything in your house

loving the input :p whats the wether been like in south sheilds? you having this mini summer like us?

lol yep sae story here, didnt get any floods thought but strangely toys r us and argos sold all their play sand (which i was going to use in my new tank) because people were panic buying incase it flooded :D thats what the manager told me anyway i doubt everyone came in and said im panic buying incase it floods

fair enough, strategic house planning if you ask me lol
