Prime is so concentrated and that is fine when I am using it with the larger tanks when doing large water changes, but how much Prime are people adding when they only do small water changes. Example, on my 10 gallon aquarium if I only remove and replace 3 gallons how much Prime would you dose with?

Well, 5ml doses 50 gallons, so 1 ml would dose 10 gallons.

I always dose to the size of the tank rather than the replaced water so you magic number would be 1ml.

I tend to 2-3x dose on water changes with Prime, simply for the bit of extra insurance against any elevated levels of toxins in the tap water, considering how concentrated Prime is.

Seachem Pond Oasis Prime is exactly the same product and it tends to be cheaper (I regularly buy 2l bottles for <£40 delivered), I just dose as per standard Prime dosage instructions (5ml treats 200l), as ponds need less dechlorinator because of their extra surface area.

My small bottle of Prime says on the back to use 2 drops per gallon. SO for me from the small bottle I drop in 6 drops for 3 gallons.

I often dose my whole tank though since my tap has a high level of ammonia.

I use a bucket for my water changes and simply measured the number of drops it took to give me the right ml as specified on the label. I counted a bit more than 1 drop per gallon as the right amount. My 4 gallons of water gets 6 drops of Prime when I am doing water changes. That way I do not need to find that darned pipette to do a water change.

Prime is quite safe to overdose, so you don't need to be exact. You need 5ml per 200 litres, so with that you can easily work out how much you'd need for any amount of water.
