Question About Pruning Java Fern

This is daft I know but that's me lol. When I cut old leaves off close to the rhizome (sp) at the bottom do they grow back? I cut off some of the bigger really long leaves that were very brown and ugly looking.

New leaves will grow back yes. The also regenerate by growing babies on the ends of their leaves which you can pull off and tie elsewhere.
