does anyone what what color is Power~Glo??? blue or white???

Are you sure it's white light? I've got power glo and aqua glo and both are a purplish/blue light Well anyways they really bring out the colors in fish and plants.

I bought a sun glo one and I really didn't like it. Way too yellow and bright

Nope I've also just used the power glo with a regular philips white tube and the color is still a purplish color. Hmmm

haha I know it's sun glo and it would be yellow but when I saw it in the store mixed with the power glo in one of their display tanks it looked good but it didn't look good in my tank. It made the fish look washed out

lol ahh k.. i was thinking.. em sun glo.. State the obvious lol but i see what you mean, some display tanks do look much better than our own even the lighting..
i use triton bulb in mine it really brings out the colour in my fish brilliantly

If you want the blue marine look on FW get a 50/50 bulb.

50% daylight and 50% actinic blue. I had it on my 54 for a while it was cool but algae became a problem despite a common plec and 6 ottos in the tank.
