Okay, I know how to pick out a good pair of angels to breed, but I don't get it. Do I just stick them in a 20 gallon tank together? The they need to be prepared like with bettas? And I know you're suppost to feed the babies brine shrimp for the first little while, but is there anything else I can use? I want my angels to be happy, healthy and grow fast, but Brine Shrimp eggs are expenive! Will microworms work?

Before they have paired, while they are still juvies you should be conditioning them. There is a fine line between feeding enough & overfeeding. Alernate a day of live or frozen brine shrimp with a day of live blackworms or frozen bloodworms in the morning, and a quality flake in the evening.

You can't just pick a pair by eye, you have to let them pair out of a group. You can buy proven pairs, check out http://www.angelsplus.com/pairs.htm It's not cheap, and there is no guarantee they will breed for you.

Check out Brine Shrimp Direct for bbs, http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/ I've been using the 80% bbs for years, it's usually around $20 per pound. If there was a cheaper substitute that worked as well I would be using it. Microworms won't cut it, neither will vinegar eels.

Yes, I know about the group thing, I was planning on picking out the lfs's best 6.

So basicly what you're saying is no, there are no other cheaper options? Okay, thanks for your help.
