Hi any idea where i can get a python in the Uk, fed up of holding a 25L drum above my tank and trying to pour it slowly into the tank, I just know i'm gonna drop it in the tank one day with god knows what Consequences.

I haven't seen it anywhere. I mentioned it to AquaEssentials who said they'd look into getting it.

In the mean time, there's a thread on DIYing it.

You can easily do something with two hoses anyway, one to fill from the tap and one to empty, providing you've got a drain or loo that is lower than the tank (don't suck on the tube though to get the syphon going! Yuk! :D )

make your own there is a guide in diy section of forums

I made one as per the sticky but then had problems getting the tank to empty. Add a powerhead to the end of the hose and no more problems :D

Water changes are sooo much easier now and can be finished in 30 mins

Hi

Available in the uk from here http://www.aquatics-online.co.uk/Z158297.asp

Keep meaning to get one but haven't got round to it yet

Emma :D
The only really annoying thing, is that is a whole £23 (incl. P&P) for the 50ft kit from Bigalsonline.com as opposed to £62 in the UK :grr: (and you even get a free algae mit with the one from Bigal's !)

So I'm getting a US colleague of mine to buy it for me and bring it over to the UK shortly. I'm just not going to pay that rediculous price for the same product
