So it won't hurt my fish but the plant won't do well

I done this with my gold fish! Rinsed them Well and soaked them in a bucket. If they're goldfish it's worth starving the fish for a week as they'll eat of any algae left on the plants also if u have goldfish they're notorious for eating anything! I placed in some oxygen weed which they demolished. The bogplant thing it's some sort of pennywort they seem to leave!! Also it may die back somewhat so remove any dead leafs but it should spring back give or take a couple of weeks!

Cold water plants don't do well in warmer water temps, So they'll more than likely die yes.

When I left it to soak in a bucket I added algae eliminator so shouldn't have that problem I hope.

Thanks, I've got them all cleaned and ready any way, so I'm going to put them in as I don't have a pond, I'll just remove them as they start to die, thanks again

What plants are they Anyways! Some pond plants do survive in warmer water depending on type it is but I guess you'll find out one way or another!

As I have absolutely no idea what they are I will probably find out if they will live or not before their names lol

Well it didn't slowly rot. But next morning there were millions of its bits I donno what to call them ( leaves. Petals) every where so I pulled them out. Shame because they looked good

Should have just removed the dead leaves! Because uve removed part of the roots the leaves would be expected to die back because there's less of a route system to support them! Iv the plant in my cold-water tank with new growth now but the bottom leaves died back.

Can you post a pic of the plants? we may be able to ID them for you, Hornwort is a very good pond to tropical plant, I switched out a fair bit this year from pond to very warm tank no probs.
