I used purigen in my previous tank. All fish now moved to my new 300ltr 4' aqua one set up. Only thing changed is the addition of another Eheim Pro3 350 external with an Eheim UV. Started off with the Purigen again, but with ro used for water changes and phosguard in place have decided to revert back to my original idea for this setup, peat in filter and use Blackwater extract. Done that now, removed Purigen. Any thoughts on this guys? Good idea or bad?
