Hey Dudes,
This is a question from my grandad who has just started fish keeping again and has already set up his new tank. he is currently keeping 6 Neon Tetras and 6 Harlequins. The man at Chessington Garden Centre Aquatis tried to flog him some massive 150w light and some giant filter, although his tank is about 10 gallons or less. Anyway, all the fish seem to be stuck in the suction of the filter and always hang around the inlet.Is this natural?

If they are actually getting stuck to the filter intake then I think you can safely say that its toooo powerfull for this size of tank.

What size/type is the filter? and actuall size of tank?
