On another Thread someone was looking for 2 years for Kuhili Loaches. There all over in the US.

I think whipsnade zoo have one. I remember seeing an exhibit as a kid where they hooked up LED's to the tank and as the fish discharged they lit up. of course, they never really lit up.

They must have been really unlucky, there's loads of them around in the UK+ you can always order online.

I'm pretty certain that Bristol Zoo have one,
I saw it on The Zoo (TV show).
I distinctly remember, seeing on the show, a new member of staff not
wanting anything to do with handling it when it arrived at the zoo.

Keeping an electric eel is not something to be taken lightly

I was at whipsnade last year and didn't spot one.

Thanks Arfie, have emailed them to, looks hopeful for them as they mention the eels in there Amazon description.

What LFS do you use?

They are a great fish to keep, have quite a personallity once settled in and are great at feeding times. Personally small fish do nothing for me so electric eels being potencially huge make them very interesting.
