Hi guys...

I've got 4 of these little critters in my Tang setup... was just wandering if anyone knows when they become 'mature' enough to spawn and when the egg spots will appear on them?

thanks

Thanks for the article.

But does anyone know about the egg spots please?

What do you want to know about egg spots? If it's sexing them, egg spots aren't a reliable indicator as females can have them too. If you want to know the purpose of them, read here.

Also wanted to point out that you may want to get some more demasoni, the general rule with them is to have either 1 or 12+. The reason is that they are difficult to sex and both males and females have such high conspecific aggression that a dominant fish will often kill off smaller groups. In a large group any weak ones can get lost in the "crowd". For some more info on them you might PM Ferris as he used to breed them. :good:
