Protecting New Leaves?

I have a tank with a couple of blackmoors and one of them eats every type of plant I put in the tank. Anubias have faired the best but as soon as new leaves start to grow, it eats the new leaves. It doesn't touch the more established leaves but the plants cant establish any decent growth before being eaten. Has anyone come up with a way of protecting the leaves to allow them to develop?
