How would one of these species fair in an African cichlid tank?

Enteromius fasciolatus (African / Banded Barb), Enteromius hulstaerti (Butterfly Barb),
Enteromius jae (Jae Barb)
Enteromius haasianus (Sickle Barb)

All would be immediately slaughtered. All, except haasianus, are amazing fish deserving of their own tanks.

I keep (and have young from) fasciolatus, and while they are larger than jae or hulstaerti, they share an interest in the lower region of the tank, which would put them in direct competition with rainforest Cichlids. With traditional African cichlids (mbuna or Tanganyikans) they would immediately be destroyed.

I have a cf. jae here, and they are delicate little things. hulstaerti are beautiful, but not for communities. They are too easy to kill.

If I could get hulstaerti, I'd leap at the chance. jae too, as it seems every time you see them, they're a slightly different version/species.
