I bought four of these shrimps for my planted aquarium as an algae defence. They hung around for days then suddenly dissappeared. Thought they might have gone on an expedition out of the tank or climbed into the filter chamber, so I was amazed to see this one back and my, hasen't he grown.

Now im gogin to have to go to my LFS and buy some... lol

Are those amanos...I want to get some, but at their price, it would be tough to deal with them disappearing.
 
Yeah! they're amano's. They retail at £1.25 each over here, not that bad actually, at the time I was expecting to pay more. I suppose it also depends on the size the dealers have them at.
 
What do you mean "At Algae Removal", well the one in the picture has increased in size so he's eating something could be dead plant material, fish food, or algae, this I dunno, but as long as he's scavageing then he must be doing some good. In the photo he's browsing on a leaf over a clump of Java Moss.
