Probs With Flag Acara

Hi all,
my female flag acara is ill, the male is healthy but the female is laying in my hospital tank on her side not moving or eating and her tail is clamped. When i try to move her or the hospital tank she starts swimming then lays on her side again and stays in the same spot all day.Shes been like this for two weeks any ideas?

AN UPDATE.

The fish is still alive shes getting a patch where her scales have fallen off, shes now turned over i think it was laying in the same position that done it. Every time i decide to euthanise her she flaps about and shows a lot of strength. This fish wont give up! What do i do im concerned that maybe the fish harbors a disease HELP PLEASE!!!!!
