Problems With Cloudy Water...help!

So my 60gal tank has been set up for a while and now all of a sudden my ammonia and nitrates spiked and I did a 50% water change, now my water is EXTREMELY cloudy! What can I do to get the cloudiness gone? My fish are NOT happy! I've already lost one guppy and one molly.

May be a bacterial bloom, wait it out it should correct itself

Lost 2 mollies and 1 guppy, looks like I might lose one more molly, IDK what is wrong, maybe i need new carbon in my filter? The other mollies and guppies and platies seem to be ok, some are hiding, some are just swimming around and my algae eaters seem to be fine, swimming around like usual...I've never had a tank get this cloudy before, a little scary!
