Problem

I'm not new at fish keeping but this is the 1st time i set up an older tank. it has been in stoage for about 5 years. i brought it home last week, cleaned it, cleaned filter, plants and driftwood. i started adding water last night only to discover my water is clowdy and kind of greenish.... i soaked the wood again but the water is clear so i know its not the wood im not sure what is going on? can anyone help or offer suggestions? i have never had this problem before....

Hm, this sort of happened to me in the beginning as well, just keep your filter running and everything and it'll eventually become clear. It shouldn't be THAT cloudy though, at least that's what I saw with mine.

thanks! i did leave everything running, but i took some water out in hope for it to clear faster
